After two years of rowing singles, it is time to get back into bigger boats.
Taking a double instead of two singles means that there are more boats available for more people. It lets you learn how to co-ordinate your rowing with someone else and you could even learn something from them! It will also set you up to row more effectively in a quad and provides a social rowing opportunity. Doubles are also more stable than singles, making them a good option for those choppier water days.
Join the doubles clinic, coached by Karin Germann, on Tuesday June 14 at 6pm to learn (or re-learn) how to row as a team. Anyone who has rowed at least one season (graduated from Step2) is welcome to join. More experienced rowers will have the chance to get familiar with some of our racing doubles.
