A message from the Team Captain - Alistair Hensler:

"Although winter may not seem to be the best time for rowing, did you know that 25 rowers registered for the January 2023 ONEC Virtual Team Challenge and managed to row on ergs and water rowers farther than their team goal which was Ottawa to Corner Brook? They actually rowed 2,280,385 metres - almost to Gander, Newfoundland, the town that became a beacon on 9/11 and became the basis for the great theatrical hit “Come From Away”. YAH TEAM ONEC and Alistair Hensler, the Crew Captain and led the charge at over 200,000 metres."
