Offering a membership option with unlimited access to club kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. We also offer pay-as-you-play options such as courses, clinics & kids summer camps open to everyone in the community.
Membership includes unlimited booking privileges, at no additional charge, to paddle at times convenient to you.

Courses
and Clinics
Open for Members and Non-members In addition to social paddle outings for members, ONEC offers Paddle Canada Certification courses, skills development and specialty clinics to club members and non-members alike, run by Paddle Canada certified instructors. Activities start mid May and continue throughout the summer. View the calendar of events for the latest schedule and links to register. We can also create bespoke events for community groups such as clubs, schools, businesses and we may be able to add additional clinics or spots if there is interest - just let us know! Big Canoe
Excursions
Open for Members and Non-members Weekly Learn to Paddle excursions with Paddle Canada certified leaders, in Rabaska Big Canoes, Thursday evenings (May through August) and Saturday mornings (all season long). Includes an introduction to paddle strokes and a trip up the Ottawa River towards Rideau Falls, the locks, and Parliament. You can register below, or over on our paddling calendar. If you'd like to book a time for your own group (of 4 to 18) then send us an e-mail at paddling@onec.ca and we'll get back in touch to arrange details.

ONEC is Proud
to be a Paddle Canada Member

A not-for-profit organization founded in 1971, and incorporated in 1972, Paddle Canada is the national association for recreational paddling in Canada. Setting standards for instruction and certification for recreational canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddling, Paddle Canada certifications are nationally accredited and internationally recognized. Each year, approximately 2500 certified instructors deliver sanctioned courses to more than 15,000 paddlers across Canada.
