Great start to the Masters Season. Really nice to see a sizable and dedicated group of people out for our early morning practices. Keep at it and "become the athlete you want to row with" - Faster Masters
Sherry and myself will be meeting with Marlene from Faster Masters (based in Montreal) shortly to review the videos we took during our first outing. Stay tuned.
Friday Updates:
Make sure to RSVP on the calendar (or in the Events Tab of the Group Chat) for practices
You will also need to book your boat separately on the reservation system
Meet on the docks at 6:00 AM sharp for quick dynamic warm up and review of the practice - then work together to get the boats down to the docks
Time trials will be running for 2022. These are not a race. They are an opportunity to monitor your progress throughout the season and a way to stay true to your goals. Aim for a personal best and improvement over your last time at each session. First session will be held on June 30th and will be in honour of Pride Month - see more details & map at the end of this post. Launch from the docks at 6:00AM (waterfront for 5:45).
